Vidhyasagar International Public School, Tiruppur, celebrated Freshers' Day and Investiture Ceremony 2026–27 with great enthusiasm on 6th June 2026. The event marked a warm welcome to the Grade XI students and the official induction of the newly elected Student Council Members. The programme was graced by the school's Chairman, Shri. A. Ramasamy, Secretary Smt. Sivapriya Matheswaran, and Principal Smt. Sasireka. Through a democratic election process, Master.Abinav S. of Grade XII was elected as the School President and Master.Visvesh S. of Grade XI as the School Secretary, while House Captains and Vice-Captains of all four houses assumed their leadership responsibilities. The newly elected leaders were presented with designation badges and house flags, symbolizing their commitment to serve the school community. Addressing the gathering, Secretary Smt. Sivapriya Matheswaran warmly welcomed the new students to the Vidhyasagar family and encouraged them to embrace every opportunity with confidence, curiosity, and determination. She conveyed her best wishes to all VIPSIANS for a successful academic year, urging them to uphold the values of discipline, integrity, leadership, and excellence that define the institution. ECHOES ’26, held on 29th March 2026 - a day of exquisite and stunning collection of memories that will stay forever. The day began with an impressive photoshoot and a heartfelt welcome, setting the tone for joy and togetherness. Energetic dance performances and a meaningful skit touched emotions and left the audience inspired. A friendly interactive session brought laughter and smiles, while School Chairman’s advice, Secretary’s wishes, and the Principal’s thoughtful guidance added depth and purpose to the celebration. Soothing music, vibrant dance movements, and the constant support of teachers and staff made every moment special. As the evening ended with an appetizing dinner, ECHOES ’26 became a cherished memory for all.

He shared valuable insights on higher education options and the wide range of career opportunities available for Arts students. During the session, he emphasized the importance of decision-making while choosing academic and professional pathways. He also highlighted various professional courses and the significance of skill development in today’s competitive environment. The interaction gave students a live practical guidance and clarity regarding their future aspirations, making the session both informative and inspiring. 🎓
The Tamil Ilakkiya Peravai: Ainthinai

The Tamil Ilakkiya Peravai: Ainthinai celebration was observed with great enthusiasm on January 24, 2026, at Vidyasagar International Public School. The programme was graced by the Chairman, Mr. Andavar A. Ramasamy, Secretary, Mrs. Sivapriya Matheswaran, Principal, Mrs. Sasireka Balasubramanian, along with teachers, students, and parents. Students creatively showcased the lifestyle, food habits, and occupations of people from the ancient major five landscapes—Kurinji, Mullai, Marutham, Neithal, and Palai—through engaging role-plays, dance performances, art and food challenge competitions. Winners were awarded prizes. All participants were appreciated. In December, the school shared Thiruppavai Verses (Pasuram) with their explanations to parents and students through WhatsApp. A quiz competition was held on based on this and winners were rewarded by the Secretary and the Principal. The event concluded successfully, leaving everyone with joyful memories and enriching learning experiences.
Pongal Celebration - 2026

The Pongal Festival was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Vidhyasagar International Public School, Koolipalayam, Tiruppur, on 9th January 2026, in the presence of Chairman Mr. Andavar A. Ramasamy, Secretary Mrs. Sivapriya Matheswaran, Principal Mrs. Sasireka Balasubramanian, along with teachers, students, and parents. Students beautifully decorated Pongal pots, created colourful rangoli kolams, and participated in traditional rituals such as Surya Pongal and Mattu Pongal, while cultural performances including kummi dance, folk dance, and Surya Namaskar added vibrancy to the celebration. Awareness activities highlighting environmental protection, gratitude to farmers, and the importance of food were conducted, followed by inspiring Pongal wishes and addresses from the dignitaries. The celebration concluded joyfully with a mass kummi dance by students, making the festival truly memorable.
Classic Winter Tales Celebration – 2025

Vidhyasagar International Public School (VIPS), Tirupur, organized the Classic Winter Tales Celebration – 2025 on December 26 in its campus at Koolipalayam Four Road. The event was held in the esteemed presence of Chairman Mr. Andavar A. Ramasamy, Treasurer Mrs. Radha Ramasamy, Secretary Mrs. Sivapriya Matheswaran, and Principal Mrs. Sasireka Balasubramanian, along with parents, teachers, and students. The celebration began with the lighting of the kuthuvilakku by Treasurer Mrs. Radha Ramasamy. Devotional bhajans, folk dances like Kolattam and Oyilattam, and elegant Bharatanatyam performances reflected Tamil cultural heritage. Winners of the Kolam competition were honoured by Mrs. Radha Ramasamy and Mrs. Sivapriya Matheswaran. The classical dance drama Sundara Kandam and musical performances by Avinashi URB music troupe marked a grand conclusion, highlighting the school’s commitment to cultural excellence alongside academics.
VIPS ARENA & ARTIUM 2025

The Annual Day of Vidhyasagar International Public School, Koolipalayam, Tirupur, was celebrated grandly on 23rd November 2025 on the school grounds with the theme “Arena & Artium”. Hundreds of students, parents, teachers, and dignitaries participated and added splendour to the event. The Chief Guest, Dr. C.Sylendra Babu, IPS (Retd.), former Director General of Police and Head of Police Force , Tamil Nadu, graced the occasion and distributed prizes to the winners of various sports events. The school’s Chairman, Thiru. Andavar A. Ramasamy, delivered the welcome address, followed by the participation of Treasurer Smt.Radha Ramasamy, Secretary Smt. Sivapriya Matheswaran, Principal Smt. Sasireka, staff members, and students. Dr. Sylendra Babu’s motivating presence inspired the young minds, emphasizing that discipline, determination, self-control, and sportsmanship are essential qualities for success in life. The theme performance “Arena & Artium” by the students captivated parents and guests with vibrant cultural and artistic displays. VIPS Arena & Artium 2025 hosted an action-packed week of sports, featuring Basketball, Throwball, Box Cricket, Shuttle badminton, Athletics, and Football for students across all categories. Exciting league matches were held team-wise with Andalusians, Friesians, Haflingers, and Warlanders showcasing incredible talent and sportsmanship. The league culminated in thrilling finals on 20th and 21st November, keeping spectators on the edge of their seats. Parents too joined the fun, competing in friendly matches of Basketball, Throwball, Box Cricket, and Football with full enthusiasm. The event promoted teamwork, healthy competition, and school spirit among students and parents alike. VIPS Arena & Artium 2025 ensured a well-organized and energetic environment for every participant. It was a celebration of sports, skill, and community, leaving everyone with unforgettable memories.
Children’s Day Celebration 2025

Children’s Day 2025 was celebrated with great joy and excitement on campus under the guidance of Chairman Shri Andavar A. Ramasamy, Secretary Smt. Sivapriya Matheswaran, and Principal Smt. Sasireka. Students were thrilled by a fun and entertaining mentalism session by Mr. Arun Loganathan (an international award-winning mentalist) which left everyone amazed. The day became even more special with an enchanting magic show by Mr. Saravanan that captivated the audience. Laughter, wonder, and cheerful moments filled the entire celebration hall. Energizing dance and melodious singing performances by the teachers added extra charm and excitement to the celebration. Snacks were distributed to all students, adding to the festive mood. Overall, it was a memorable and joy-filled Children’s Day. The day concluded with happy faces and beautiful memories cherished by all.
